What is the FPL11 app

The FPL11 app is the only Fantasy Premier League companion app built specifically for India managers. It complements (not replaces) the official FPL game at fantasy.premierleague.com. The app adds IST-friendly deadline reminders, Hindi UI, India-specific mini-league discovery and live captain pick alerts.

The app syncs with your official FPL team via your team ID. You don't need to recreate your squad — the app pulls your existing squad, watchlist and transfer history from the official FPL API.

The app is rated 4.8 stars on Google Play and 4.7 on the App Store. India managers from Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi, Hyderabad and other cities use it daily during the Premier League season. The app is updated every 2 weeks with new features and bug fixes.

If you're in India and don't see the app in App Store, your Apple ID may be set to a different country. Go to Settings → [your name] → Country/Region → Change Country or Region → India. Enter a valid India payment method (can be ₹0 UPI). Restart App Store and search again.

App size and supported devices

Android: 24 MB APK, runs on Android 8.0+. iOS: 28 MB, runs on iOS 14+. The app is lightweight by design — we optimised for the typical India manager's mid-range phone (Redmi, Realme, Samsung Galaxy A series). Background data usage: ~50 MB/month for price change alerts + live scores.

Tested on: Samsung Galaxy A14, Redmi Note 12, Realme Narzo 60, OnePlus Nord CE 3, iPhone 11, iPhone 14, iPhone SE (3rd gen). All run FPL11 smoothly with no lag.

The app requires 100 MB free storage for install. After install, it uses 50-80 MB for caching live data. To free up space: Settings → Apps → FPL11 → Storage → Clear Cache (does not delete your settings or squad data).

Install guide

Android install: open Google Play → search FPL11 India → tap Install → open the app → enter your FPL team ID or sign in with email. iOS install: open App Store → search FPL11 India → tap Get → open the app → enter your FPL team ID or sign in with email. The app will request push notification permission on first launch — tap Allow.

If the app doesn't appear in your app store, your device might be set to a region where the app isn't available. India region setting is required for the bonus code features. Go to Settings → Apps → Default Apps → Choose Default Apps by Region → India. Alternatively, the APK is available on our GitHub releases page for direct download.

The total install + setup time is under 3 minutes. Most India managers complete the entire flow (download → install → setup → first sync) within 5 minutes of starting. If the sync fails, check your internet connection and re-enter your FPL team ID.

First-time setup

On first launch: (1) enter your FPL team ID, (2) allow push notifications for deadline alerts, (3) optionally enable Hindi UI in Settings → Language, (4) optionally join the India community league, (5) optionally enable the bonus code. Setup takes under 2 minutes.

To find your FPL team ID: log into fantasy.premierleague.com → click 'My Team' → look at the URL. The URL contains your team ID (a numeric string, usually 7-8 digits). Example: fantasy.premierleague.com/entry/1234567/event/9 → team ID is 1234567.

After setup, the app syncs your squad data within 30 seconds. You'll see your 15 players, captain pick, vice-captain pick, bench order and current team value. From then on, the app stays in sync automatically — no manual refresh needed.

App permissions explained

FPL11 requests these permissions: (1) Notifications — for deadline and goal alerts, (2) Internet — for live data sync, (3) Storage — for caching live data on slow networks, (4) Optional: Location — for India-specific content. The app does NOT request contacts, microphone, camera or any sensitive permissions.

Notifications permission is requested on first launch. Without it, you won't receive deadline alerts or live goal alerts — both essential features. The permission can be granted/denied anytime in phone Settings → Apps → FPL11 → Notifications.

Storage permission is optional but recommended. With storage permission, the app caches live data (last 24 hours of price changes + scores) so you can view it offline. Without storage permission, the app requires an internet connection for every screen load.

Troubleshooting install errors

Common install errors and fixes: 'App not available in your country' — change Google Play country to India. 'Insufficient storage' — free up 200 MB. 'Parse error' — redownload APK. 'App keeps crashing' — clear cache and reinstall. Contact [email protected] if none of the above resolves your issue.

Other common errors: 'This app is built for an older version of Android' — your Android version is below 8.0 (Oreo). 'App not compatible with your device' — your device doesn't meet the minimum spec. 'Login failed' — double-check your FPL team ID.
