What is the FPL11 app

The FPL11 app is the only Fantasy Premier League companion app built specifically for India managers. It complements (not replaces) the official FPL game at fantasy.premierleague.com. The app works alongside your official FPL team — you still lock your squad on the official site, but the FPL11 app adds India-specific features on top. Think of it as the official FPL site + the FPL11 app = the ultimate India FPL setup.

You download the app from Google Play or Apple App Store, enter your FPL team ID during setup, and the app syncs your squad data automatically. From then on, the app sends push notifications for deadlines, captain pick alerts, price change warnings, and live match updates — all tuned to IST deadlines and India manager preferences.

The app is rated 4.8 stars across 2.3L+ downloads. India managers from Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi, Hyderabad and other cities use it daily during the Premier League season. The app is updated every 2 weeks with new features and bug fixes. Most updates are non-intrusive — no forced reboots, no data wipes.

Live FPL price change tracker

The price change tracker is the most-used feature in the FPL11 app. Every 5 minutes, the app polls the official FPL price change API and alerts you when one of your players rises or falls. The alert arrives 4 hours before the IST deadline so you can sell before a fall or buy before a rise.

The tracker shows three views: (1) your squad's current prices, (2) the next 10 players expected to rise, (3) the next 10 players expected to fall. Each card shows the player's current price, projected next price, projected change percentage and time until next price update. The data refreshes every 5 minutes during a gameweek.

Price change alerts arrive as both a push notification and an in-app banner. You can configure the alert threshold (e.g. only alert if change is >0.1M or >0.2M). Most India managers set the threshold to 0.1M to catch every change. The tracker also shows historical price changes for the season — useful for spotting patterns.

Captain pick projections

Captain pick projections blend xG, xA, clean sheet odds, BPS history and ownership percentage into a single captaincy score per player per gameweek. The top 3 captains each week get a notification 2 hours before the deadline with their projected points ceiling and risk rating.

The projection model uses a weighted ensemble: xG (35%), xA (20%), clean sheet odds (15%), BPS history (15%) and ownership percentage (15%). The weights are tuned monthly against the prior 8 gameweeks' actual captain performance. If a captain candidate has been over- or under-performing the model, the weights adjust accordingly.

Risk rating is split into 3 tiers: Safe (above 60% ownership, high projected points, low variance), Balanced (20-60% ownership, medium projected points, medium variance), Differential (below 20% ownership, high ceiling but lower median). Most India managers use Balanced picks; chasing the leaderboard requires more Differential picks.

Mini-league analytics

The mini-league analytics page shows your rank in every private and public league you belong to, projects your season-end rank based on current scoring pace and highlights the captain picks your league rivals used so you can pick differentials to leapfrog them.

The page shows your current rank, points gap to the leader, points gap to the next rank up, and a season-end rank projection. If you're 50 points behind the leader with 5 gameweeks to go, you'll need 10+ points per gameweek average — actionable insight to set your chip timing.

Rival tracking shows the top 5 rivals in each of your leagues — their captain picks last gameweek, their chip usage history, and their net transfers in/out. This data helps you decide whether to make a -4 hit to overtake them or play it safe.

Hindi UI

The Hindi UI overlay translates every menu, button and notification into Hindi. Captain picks are also delivered in a Hindi newsletter every Friday. The translation is done by FPL-experienced editors, not machine translation.

To enable Hindi UI, go to Settings → Language → हिन्दी. The app reloads with all menu items in Hindi (translated by our FPL editors). Captain picks in the Hindi newsletter are formatted as quick-scan summaries: कप्तान चुनाव, अंक अनुमान, जोखिम स्तर — captain pick, points projection, risk level.

The Hindi UI works for both the app interface and the captain pick newsletter. The newsletter is sent every Friday at 6 PM IST to all users who enable Hindi UI. It includes the GW captain picks in 3 categories: safe, balanced, differential, plus a Hindi-language explanation of each pick's expected value.

Push notifications

Push notifications fire for deadline alerts (4 hours before FPL deadline), live goal/assist alerts (within 15-30 seconds of actual event), lineup confirmation alerts (30 minutes before kickoff), price change confirmations (when a price rise or fall is confirmed), and chip recommendations (if you've held the same chip for 6+ gameweeks without playing it).

You can customise which notifications you receive in Settings → Notifications. The default is all notifications on. For India managers watching the late-night matches at 1:30 AM IST, goal alerts are essential — they let you track your captain's live points even while half-asleep. Disable other notifications to reduce phone interruptions.

Battery usage for push notifications is minimal (<1% per hour). The app uses Google's FCM (Firebase Cloud Messaging) for delivery, which is optimised for low battery drain. Notifications arrive within 5 seconds of the actual event on most India 4G networks.

Free vs Pro tier

The free tier includes price change tracker, captain pick alerts, Hindi UI, mini-league analytics and push notifications. The Pro tier (₹299/month) adds xG/xA deep dives, ownership-weighted projections, unlimited private leagues and ad-free experience. Most India FPL managers use the free tier successfully.
