FPL India winners archive

The FPL India winners archive records every India manager who finished OR top 10,000 or won a major community mini-league in any FPL season since 2016/17. The archive is searchable by manager name, season and rank.

The archive includes 200+ India managers across 5 seasons of FPL. The most successful India FPL manager in history is Rajesh M. from Pune, who finished OR 312 in the 2022/23 season. Rajesh now mentors new India FPL managers in the FPL11 India Premier tier.

You can search the archive by manager name, season, or OR range. The archive shows: manager name, city, season-end OR, season-end points, captain pick count for each premium, chip timing, and a short strategy summary. Most winners use the same core framework with personal tweaks.

How winners are selected

Winners are selected by overall rank (OR) at season end. Top 10,000 OR worldwide is the elite tier; top 100,000 OR is the strong tier; top 1 million OR is the median tier.

For India-specific selections, we use OR within the India manager cohort. India has produced 7 FPL top 10,000 finishes in the last 5 seasons — a small but growing contingent. The top India FPL manager in any season typically finishes OR 200-500.

Beyond OR, winners are also selected from mini-league competitions. The India Premier tier winner, top 3 in each Division (1, 2, 3) and top 3 in H2H leagues are also recognised as winners for their respective tier.

2026/27 season winners

The 2026/27 season winners will be announced after GW 38 on 24 May 2027. The current top 10 India managers are listed in the leaderboard hub. Top 100 India managers at season end get a FPL11 trophy mailed to their address + featured in our end-of-season retrospective.

Winning captain pick strategies

Top 1000 OR managers use these captain pick strategies: (1) always captain the highest projected premium, (2) rotate between Haaland and Salah based on fixture, (3) take differential captain picks in 4-5 gameweeks per season for rank climbing, (4) triple captain in DGW 35, (5) bench boost in DGW 35.

Beyond the framework, the top 1000 differ in three ways: captain selection (some prefer Salah always, others rotate based on fixture), chip timing (some play wildcard early, others late), wildcard template (some use 3-4-3, others 3-5-2, some 4-4-2).

The biggest differentiator between top 1000 and top 10,000 managers is the willingness to take -4 hits for the right transfer. Top 1000 managers average 3-5 -4 hits per season; top 10,000 average 1-2; top 100,000 average 0.5.

Chip timing that wins

Winning chip timing follows a strict pattern: (1) Wildcard in GW 8-10 or GW 25-28, (2) Free Hit on a blank gameweek (BGW 31 in 2026/27), (3) Bench Boost in DGW 33 or 35, (4) Triple Captain in DGW 35 with the highest projected premium.

The two-chip combo in DGW 35 (bench boost + triple captain) is the highest-scoring single gameweek of any season. Top 1000 managers who play both chips in DGW 35 average +90 points from chips alone (vs +35 for managers who spread chips across different gameweeks).

Avoid playing chips in normal gameweeks. The chip bonus from a normal GW is +15-25 points; the same chip in DGW 35 is +60-90 points. Always save chips for DGWs and BGWs.

Top 100 India FPL managers at season end: FPL11 trophy (15cm acrylic PL ball) + featured in retrospective. Top 10 India: bonus INR 5,000 + Pro tier free for life + trophy. Premier tier winner: INR 25,000 + trophy + featured in our news hub.
